Edith Milkon

Edith I. Milkon, 82, formerly of Robinwood Blvd., Newton Falls, died Monday at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.

Born Jan. 8, 1916 in Piney Fork, Ohio, she was the daughter of Joseph and Pia (Farrari) Polazzi.

Mrs. Milkon attended St. Joseph Church in Newton Falls. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Schmitt of Warren; son Anthony of Champion; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Angeline Siemion of Detroit, Mich., and Mary Cicone of Steubenville. Her husband, Anthony, died Dec. 24, 1980. A brother, Joseph, and sister, Bruna, also died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Borowski Funeral Home in Newton Falls, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Newton Falls Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Fund.
