Virginia H. Brutscher, 85, of Ravenna, died Tuesday.
Born Aug. 11, 1912 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Sherman and Bertha (Haught) Bryant.
Mrs. Brutscher was head resident of Westminster Hall at Ohio State University for many years. She also worked at Wooster College as a dorm manager, at the Belden Hotel in Canton and the Congress Lake Club. She operated her own decorating company in Florida and was affiliated with Camp Kawanee in Weld, Maine.
She was a member of Asbury Park United Methodist Church in Florida. She was an accomplished pianist and artist and enjoyed quilting.
Survivors include her sons, Garry Hershberger of Decatur, Ind. and Donald (Susan) Hershberger of Worthington; daughter Virginia (Robert) Replogle of Charleston, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Duncan of Ravenna and Doris Gordon of Rootstown. Her husband, William, son, H.M. Hershberger Jr., and daughter-in-law, Martha Hershberger, died previously.
A memorial service will be held for the family. Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel is handling arrangements.
