Zillah Hopkins

Zillah M. Hopkins, 80, of Shalersville, died Friday at Maplewood Care Center in Streetsboro after a short illness.

Born Sept. 6, 1917, in Cleveland, she was the daughter of Charles and Zillah (Torrence) Steine. She had lived in Shalersville since 1990 and had formerly lived in Cleveland and Detroit.

Survivors include sons, Jim and Gary Kelch, both of Shalersville; and two grandchildren. Two brothers died previously.

There will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by the Shorts Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel.
