Edward Knechtl

He was born on Aug. 4, 1939 in Cleveland.

Mr. Knechtl worked for the Village of Chagrin Falls street department for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Judith J. (Hamel), to whom he was married for 36 years; daughters, Candy (Matt) Miller, Donna (Dean) Fuller, Jackie (Ron) Likovic and Christine (Ken) Knechtl; 11 grandchildren; and brother, Jim of Mantua.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, 95 S. Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
