James Caldwell

Born Oct. 5, 1919 in Bucyrus, he was the son of Harry and Ruth (Beal) Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell had been a district salesman for the Ralston Purina Company before working as a courier for Performance Pontiac of Wooster.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wooster.

Survivors include his wife, Annabelle Watt, whom he married on April 3, 1942; daughters, Carole (Jim) Anderson of South Euclid, Barbara (Steven) Grudzinski of Kent, Rebecca (Daniel) Edwards Jr. of Ravenna and Lori (Kent) Baker of Wooster; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Beatrice Froebe of Bellefontaine and Mary Eva (Robert) Skinner of Englewood; and brother, Calvin Caldwell of Bellefontaine. Her sister, Eleanor Froebe, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Home in Wooster, where services will follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Dale Sanford officiating. Entombment will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
