Dale Smith, 68

Dale E. Smith, 68, of Hudson, the father of Mrs. Richard (Heather) Coe of Ravenna, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.

Born in Willoughby, he had lived in Peninsula before moving to Hudson 14 years ago.

Mr. Smith retired from the U.S. Army Reserve and the National Guard after 42 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to Mrs. Coe, survivors include his wife, Lillian (Collin); son, Dale (Theresa) of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter, Holly (James) Brown of Gahanna; and four grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St., Hudson, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.
