Mary Weinman, 85

Mary E. Weinman, 85, of Ravenna, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at the Portage County Nursing Home in Shalersville.

Born Feb. 6, 1914 in Moundsville, W.Va., she was the daughter of Mack and Minnie (Lyons) Koontz. She lived in Ravenna since 1942.

Mrs. Weinman was employed by Evenflo of Ravenna for 30 years until she retired.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ravenna and the Ravenna Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two nieces and two nephews. Her husband, Frank, died in 1978. Her brothers, Roy and Homer Koontz, also died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Atwater Cemetery.
