Dollie Goff

Dollie Goff, 76, of Diamond, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls.

Born May 21, 1922, in Toler, Ky., she was the daughter of Asa and Nancy (Muncey) May.

Mrs. Goff was a waitress and cook at Petrucci's Restaurant in Salem, where she retired in 1977.

She was a member of Raccoon Primitive Baptist Church in Kentucky.

Survivors include daughters, Frances "Bonnie" Greene of Akron, Martha Lewis of Diamond and Donna Jean Ray of Pikeville, Ky.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, John B., whom she married Oct. 17, 1945, died in 1985. A son, Tracy, brothers Willard, Jeff, Andy and George May and sisters Ella Miller, Louise Muncy, Bessie Rape and Rose Copley also died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Raccoon Primitive Baptist Church in Kentucky, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Arrangements were made by Lane Funeral Home.
