Walter Weldin

Walter K. Weldin, 84, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999.

Born in Ravenna, he was a longtime area resident.

Mr. Weldin retired from B.F. Goodrich Co. as an engineer after 40 years of service.

He was a member of First Christian Church in Ravenna and Rockton Masonic Lodge in Kent.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, to whom he was married 28 years; stepson, Richard (Maryanne) of Escondido, Calif.; stepdaughters, Mary Mohler of Barberton, Kathy (Jeffrey) Fulmer of Green, and Cindy Dijak of Barberton; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from noon until services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant St., Akron, with the Rev. Curt Hecker officiating.
