Ralph James Cross

Born Dec. 11, 1926, in Stow, he was the son of the late Ralph D. and Irene (Jones) Cross. He moved to Bedford 17 years ago.

Mr. Cross was a lift truck operator and retired from the Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Christian Church of Bedford and the Free and Accepted Masons Summit No. 213 and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Phyllis (Smith); brother, Jerry (Mary Jo) of Ravenna; and sister, Ruth Ellen (Jack) Green of Ravenna.

Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Karen Binford officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
