Cecelia Horning, 66; Was grandmother of 14

Cecilia A. Horning, 66, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 20, 2003, at Akron City Hospital. Born in Randolph, she was the daughter of James and Kathryn Kintz, she resided in Mogadore most of her life. Survivors include her husband, Glenn, to whom she was married 48 years; sons, Glenn L. of Akron, Greg (Gayle) of Mogadore; daughters, Lori (David) May of Uniontown, Lynn (Rick) Reidl of Dover, and Lisa (Larry) Mudd of Mogadore; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Rosemary) Kintz of Jones, Mich., Tom Kintz and Danny (Karen) Kintz, all of Akron; special sister, Molly (Jim) Boal of Mogadore; and aunt, Mary Fela. Her parents and brothers, Jackie, Bud and Jim Kintz, died previously. A memorial Mass will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church in Rootstown, with the Rev. Thomas J. Crum officiating. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were handled by Hopkins Lawver Mogadore Funeral Home.
