Robert W. Emigh, 84 years of age, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 . Born in Wilmore, Pennsylvania on November 28, 1928, he was the son of the late William and Jessie ( Noon) Emigh.
A resident of the Hiram area for over 60 years, he had been employed as a millwright at Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills Stamping Plant, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving with the 633rd. Engineer Light Equipment Company. Mr. Emigh was a longtime member of Mantua Masonic Lodge No. 533 F.&A.M. Bob was a " Jack of all trades", who enjoyed woodworking, making and repairing jewelry and was an avid fisherman.
On March 13, 1952, he married Margaret E. "Marg" Emigh who preceded him in death in 2005. Also preceding him was a brother, Jack. Survivors include his children, Thomas of Mantua, David (Tammy) of Garrettsville, Donald (Sandy) of Oneonta, Alabama and Nancy (George) Herr of Shalersville, siblings, Mary Wilson, Janet and Twila all of Pennsylvania, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
