Robert M. Orms (fondly known as Bumble), 72 of Brimfield, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at his residence. He was born November 9, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to the late Charles Orms and Florence (Burley) Murtha.
He had lived in Brimfield the past 43 years and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He was a member of Ohio Fur Takers Chapter 8, and Ducks Unlimited and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his sons, Rob (Barb) Orms of Brimfield, David (Michelle) Orms of Newbury, daughters, Leslie (Jim) Bond of Stow, Stacey (Mike) Parsons of Brimfield, daughter in law Jessie Orms of Brimfield; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brothers, Richard (Bonnie) Orms of Stow, Terri (Wanda) of Akron, and sister Nancy (Gene) Williams of Akron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Julie, and son Andy.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 PM, with a time of sharing to be held at 8:30 PM, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Private family services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
