Betty M. Collins, 79, of Ravenna, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born March 18, 1933 in Grand Junction, CO to Frederick and Myrna (McDow) Lauck. Betty was a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean War.
In memories book there's one so sweet, which made my childish life complete.
Nothing dried away each tear, like those hands of Mother Dear.
When I was only but a tot, she did for me an awful lot.
Nothing drove away each fear, like those words from Mother Dear.
In life's scroll her name stands out for she's so sweet to think about.
So loving and kind with a smile of cheer, that Saint of God my Mother Dear.
Memory now leaves a cherished thought, of pleasure and joy her kindness has brought.
Then beyond those gates someday I'll hear, that sweet voice of Mother Dear.
Arnold K. Williams
