Nancy Lee Booth

Nancy Lee Booth, 75, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2012.

Nancy was born on March 6, 1937 to Harold and Wilma (Morgan) Winkleman in Cleveland, Ohio. She spent her childhood days in Southington as a proud Chalker Wildcat.

During Nancy's exciting life, she lived in many different areas of the country. Most of her life was spent raising her family and grandchildren in the Windham/Garrettsville area. Her final days were lived in Newton Falls. Nancy was a jack-of-all-trades including police dispatcher, electronic assembler, snack bar helper and mother/grandmother. She was very proud of all of her accomplishments.

Nancy enjoyed crafting with her Aunt Jean, spending time at family gatherings, reading, traveling with her granddaughters clogging group, being with her sisters, children and grandchildren. She was once a member of the Nelson LMC with her aunt.

Memories of Nancy will be carried on by her loving family: son and caregiver, Brian Booth of Newton Falls; daughter, Lisa Ramsey of Ravenna; granddaughter, Shanelle (Rick) Waggoner of Hiram; grandson, Shane Lindon of Kent; great-grandson Ricky of Hiram; 3 brothers, Harold Winkleman Jr. of Texas; Dale Winkleman of Wooster; William Winkleman of Newton Falls; aunt, Jean Lawrence of Garrettsville. She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Fay Davis and Mary Lou Rupe.

Calling hours will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 10:00-11:00am. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 11:00am with Pastor Will Garland officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest in the Windham Cemetery.
