Colette Elise Barrett, 80, of Munroe Falls, passed away on Dec. 30, 2012 after a long illness.
She was born in Sainte Savine, France, where she met Ronald Barrett who was serving in the U.S. Army at the time. They were married in France moving to the U.S. in 1957. Colette was a long time member of Holy Family Parish in Stow.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Stevens, her survivors include husband of 57 years, Ronald L.; daughter, Mary (Bruce) Grenier of Jacksonville, Fl.; sons, Steven of Munroe Falls, and Jacques (Jeanne) of Cuyahoga Falls; son-in-law, Michael Stevens of Newport News, Va.; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Eric, Colette, Theresa, and James; brothers, Guy Jacquot and Michel Jacquot both of France.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 12:00 noon at Holy Family Catholic Church.
