Eugene Thomas "Tom" Workman

Eugene Thomas "Tom" Workman, 86, of Suffield, died Sunday, January 13, 2013.

Survived by his wife, Anita and children: Margaret, Mary, Jim (Pam), Susan and Loraine, as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Tom also leaves his special friend, Phil Smeils.

He was a WWII veteran and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.

Tom was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Tom Acker, S.J. and Rev. Ed Wieczorek will be held at St. Joseph Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd., Randolph, on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Good memories of hours spent in 00 Alpha with Tom and Gale. May another good man rest in peace. His was a life well lived. My condolences to Anita and the family.

Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I was a member of a 4-H club and appreciated that he took the time to be an advisor and donate the use of his shop building.
