John Eugene Zsoldos, 58 of Mantua Township passed away on January 15, 2013 after a courageous fight with cancer surrounded by family at home. He was born January 17, 1954 to John Frank Zsoldos and Donna May Zsoldos and resided in Mantua most of his life on the family farm.
John graduated from Crestwood High School in Mantua in 1972. He was involved in cross country, track and enjoyed so many great times in band playing the tuba. He attended Kent State University for two years. His last place of employment was with Century Sign out of Valley View.
John was an avid sportsman. He fished and hunted and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. His greatest joy, however, was time spent with family.
John is survived by his parents and sister, LuEllen Zsoldos Irmen, sons, John E. Zsoldos, Jr. and Michael S. (Amanda) Zsoldos and grandsons, Aaron and Mason, his wife of 13 years married May 30, 1999, Cheryl Boehm Zsoldos and her children, Sheila Boehm, Dianna Roberts, and Angela (Chris) Jenke and grandchildren, Ashley and Emily.
Cremation has taken place per John's request.
Special thanks to all his neighbors and friends who were instrumental in making his last days filled with care and concern.
John wished for donations to be given to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 4670 Richmond Road, Suite 200, Warrensville Hts. OH 44128-5918, who showed compassion for him and his family throughout his illness.

My condolences to the Zsoldos family, I enjoyed working with John for over 10yrs at Century Sign. Learned alot from John and his experience in the sign industry,spent alot of time "on the road" with John and had many good times. Thanks for the time John!
