Pamela Renee (Boykin) Milton

Pamela Renee (Boykin) Milton 49 of Kent, Ohio went to be with The Lord on January 21, 2013 suddenly with her family close by. She was born on July 16. 1963 to Frances (Emma), and the late William T. Boykin Sr.

Pam worked for Kent State University in the custodial department for 18 years and served in the United States Army for 8 years following high school graduation. She enjoyed life and never failed to make you laugh while in her presence. She had a quick wit about her, was the "Queen of one liners", and she told you what she thought when she thought it. She loved tapestries and collecting memorabilia from her travels while in the Army.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 18 years (February 21) Gary, Sons; Pierre Jones, Demitri Jones and daughter Kandise Jones all of Kent. Brothers; Wendall (Zaka) Boykin of Milwaukee, William 'Tommy' Boykin Jr, of Kent, Brian (Danielle) Boykin of Kent, Sisters; Barbara Jean Neil of Georgia, Fanette Reed of Stow, Adrienne (Michael) Coleman of Stow, and Sheilah Boykin of Kent. Special aunts; Rosetta Tucker, Theresa Wright, Terri Burrell and Carmen Douglas. Special uncles; Tony Burrell and Donald 'Duck' Douglas. Brother-in-laws, Pete (Debbie) Milton of Brimfield, and Eddie Milton of Kent. Sister-in-laws, Donna (Michael) Lightfoot of Dresden and Kim (Steve) O'Neil of Kent. Special friends, Gloria, Crystal and Cheryl, special cousin, Kim Wright and father of her children, Dwayne (Vesta) Jones and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her dad William, grandparents Robert and Maeliza Wright, favorite cousin Todd Burrell and brother-in-law Howard 'Howdy' Milton.

Calling hours are Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from at 11:00-1:00 pm with services immediately following at Rhoden Memorial Home in Akron. Interment will be at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. Condolences may be sent to the home of the family at 570 Silver Meadows Blvd, Kent, Ohio.
