Ronnie Van Hoose

Born December 5th, 1947 in Hazard, KY, Ron went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 11, 2013. Ron was a strong man of Faith after his miraculous healing at the age of 50.

Ron nicknamed "The Big Cat" greatest joy in life was his family! Ron loved to vacation with his wife "Fran" especially on cruises. Ron was an avid sports fan that started with his two young boys, whether they were on the field or the matt. It's been said that if it has a score board "Hoose" and his boys would watch it. He also loved the warm AZ days and time together in their backyard swimming pool. He is deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Ron served 4 years in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era; part of that time was spent serving at the Pentagon. After returning home from the service Ron started in the automotive industry. He excelled in all areas over his 25 years at Klaben and Polichena's in the Ravenna/Kent area. Ron and his wife of 41 years moved to AZ in 2001 where he became a real estate consultant traveling throughout the country mentoring investors.

Ron is the son of the late Clyde Van Hoose, Jr. and his surviving mother Reva Dorsey both of Ravenna, OH.

Ron was survived by his beloved wife Fran (Erdman) Van Hoose and his two sons, Dana Van Hoose and wife Tara and his son Rob Van Hoose of AZ. Sister Connie (Van Hoose) Knight (husband Terry) and Brother Lonnie Van Hoose from OH.

Papa Ronnie dearly loved and had a special relationship with his 4 grandchildren, Jordan Starcher of Ohio, and Calli Golder, Tyler and Emma Van Hoose of Arizona.

We all love and miss you Big Cat!

A memorial Service will be held on Feb. 15th 2013 at Cave Creek Veterans Cemetery in Cave Creek Arizona at 1:00 PM.
