Mary Jacqueline Smith-Moneypenny-Plotts died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Friday, February 1, 2013.
Mary was born in East Akron on September 8, 1926, to the late Charlie and Hannah Smith. She was a lifelong resident of Portage and Summit Counties, including the last 49 years in Mogadore. Mary was preceded in death by sons, Charles E. "Chucky" Moneypenny and Richard L. "Rick" Moneypenny; great-great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Ali; husbands, Leo R. Moneypenny and Glenn H. Plotts; and sister, Jane Smith. She is survived by her children, Veronica A. Gracie, Linda M. (Tim) Smith, Daniel J. (Amy) Moneypenny, David J. Moneypenny, Dennis G. (Sandie) Moneypenny, Timothy P. (Wendy) Moneypenny, Laura B. (Jeff) Whaley, Jeffrey M. Moneypenny, and Edward G.
