Edith M. Miller

Edith M. Miller, 97, of Kent, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Woodlands At Robinson.

She was born October 5, 1915 in Kent, to Marion and Lindi (Debarnardi) Montoni. Edith was a member of St. Patrick Church in Kent.

She is survived by sons, Robert (Karen) Miller of Streetsboro and William (Mary Griggs) Miller of Kent; grandchildren, Richard (Jane) Miller of North Carolina, William (Dawn) Miller Jr. of Streetsboro, Amy (Michael) Shaw of Twinsburg, Robert (Jill) Miller of Broadview Heights and Matthew Miller of Streetsboro; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister, Theresa Goodhart of Kent, OH; sister-in-law, Mary Montoni of Kent; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Miller; daughter, Karen Sue Miller; grandson, Gregory Miller; brothers, Frank, Lawrence, John, Joseph and William Montoni; sisters, Lena Ubri, Irene Giovangnoli, Mary Sullivan, Annie Montoni, Thelma Smith, Armenia Glod, Helen Swiderski and Rose Montemaggiore.

Calling hours will be held 8:30-9:30 AM Wednesday, February 6th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 6th at St. Patrick Church with Fr. Steve Agostino officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church School Building Fund, 127 Portage Street, Kent, OH 44240.
