James (Jim) D. Furby

James (Jim) D. Furby, age 52, died Thursday, February 7, 2013, peacefully, surrounded by his family at Akron City Hospital. He was born March 2, 1961 in Akron, OH and lived most of his life in Randolph.

He was a plumber most recently employed by Fox Run Mobile Home Park.

He is survived by his Mother, Barbara Craven, brothers Vernon Furby (Mary), Michael Furby, sister Cheryl Carson and Nephew Jeffery Williams (Amber) and Connor.

Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at Ravenna First Christian Church, 420 South Prospect Street, Ravenna, Ohio, on Tuesday, February 12, at 12:00 noon with a potluck fellowship following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family c/o: Vern Furby, 9704 Venus Dr., Chardon, OH 44024.
