MARTINEZ, Ga. - Dale Clayton Beal Sr., 82, died Sunday, February 17th, 2013. Son of the late Earnest and Pearl Beal, he was born in Akron, Ohio on December 29th, 1931. He is survived by his two sons, Boyd and wife Ann and Dale; two daughters, Emmy and husband Dave and Blanche (Mimi); daughter-in-law Connie Beal; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret, his two sons, Tom and Jeff, his brother Lloyd and sisters Betty and Jane preceded Dale in death.
Dale was a long time resident of Deerfield, OH with him and Peggy moving to Georgia in 1987 to work for Westinghouse at Plant Vogtle and Savannah River Site. My Dad's sense of humor was legendary and no one enjoyed a joke better. He loved cars, dogs, music and hunting on the 100 acres in Deerfield with his brother and sons. All who knew him will miss him. At Dale's request his body was donated to the Medical College of Georgia with his final resting place to be the family plot in Palmyra, OH. A private family service is being held.
I'm Darrell's (Beal)daughter, Susie. So sorry for your loss. We've been through this, too. It's hard to lose your dad. My prayers are with you.
