Gordon A. Bingham, 76, of Shalersville died Saturday October 19, 2013. He was born March 17, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Clifford and Carolyn (Krug) Bingham.
Gordon retired in 1996 as a construction engineer for Donley's Construction in Cleveland and was a member of carpenters local #435. He enjoyed building things, making wine and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years Anna (Hicks), daughter Debbie (Joe) Rilling of Cuyahoga Falls, sons Johnny (Sharon) Bingham of Kent, Eddie (Nancy) Bingham of Streetsboro, Paul (Patti) Bingham of Cleveland, stepsons Barry Traver, Jr. of Mantua and Timothy (Lori) Traver of Rinard Mills, OH, grandchildren Ashley, Joe, Logan, Mariah, Houston and Danielle, sister Carolyn (Gill) Hatmaker of Port Clinton, sister in law Bertha (Bill) Gandee of Sandyville, WV, brother in law Jules (Linda) Hicks of Shalersville and former wife Marian.
At Gordon's request there will be no public calling hours or services, a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
