Terry Lee Pugh

Terry Lee Pugh, 62, of Ravenna, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 30, 2013.

Terry was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on April 13, 1951 to parents Chester and Loviah Pugh. Terry was a process engineer at Schneller, Inc. were he had been employed for 44 years. He loved to golf and was president of the Schneller golf league for many years. Terry was an avid fisherman who always enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Canada. He was real interested in genealogy and had spent quite some time researching and constructing the family tree. Terry was a past member of the Ravenna Moose but most of all he loved being with and taking care of his grandchildren.

Terry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol. He also leaves his children: Mark (Anna Landsman) Pugh, Jonathan (Donna Conrad) Pugh and Maria (Jeremiah Caples) Pugh. Surviving also are his beloved grandchildren: Sara, Joseph and Matthew Pugh, Jonathan Trey and Marissa Pugh, Daijah and Jeremiah Jr. Caples and his great-granddaughter Layla Pugh. Terry is also survived by his mother Loviah and his siblings: Tim (Andrea) Pugh, Gary (Sally) Pugh, Kevin (Debbie) Pugh, Dawn (Roger) McMurdo, Connie (Dan) Brill and sisters-in-laws: Sandra (Roger), MaryAnn (Tom), Kathy (Jerry) and Martha. Left also to cherish his memory is his best friend Gary Lown. Terry also leaves special friends Dave Smith and Wayne Nagle.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Chester Pugh Jr.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 4:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M. where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. with Pastor David Ballert officiating.

  • My brother (POOGIE#1) I am going to miss you.When God came and took your heart he took a part of mine too. You still had alot of things you didn't teach me.You'll always be the one i looked up to ,even though when i was younger that you threw me down the stairs for not listening to you. I have learned alot from you since that time.

    I didn't get the chance to take that last fishing trip with you to what you catch all the big fish.I think i know why God took you now , so he could save all his fish from one of the greatest fisherman i know.

    You will always be in my heart. I LOVE YOU!!!!!!
