Thomas Lee Mann, age 60, a lifelong resident of Ravenna, passed away peacefully in his Ormond Beach, Florida home on December 3, 2013.
Tom had a love for motorcycles, music, Jesus and helping others. He was an active member of Akron and Portage County Alcoholics Anonymous for 27 years, providing help to many on their road to recovery.
He is preceded in death by his parents Neil Sr. and Marie Mann, and his brother Douglas Mann.
Thomas is survived by his wife Toni R. Mann, daughters Amanda Messner and Autumn Messner of Akron, Kristen (Brent) Jones of Ravenna; grandchildren: Kyra, Gavin, Trinity, and Austin; siblings: Neil (Barbara) Mann Jr. of Ravenna, Julie (Chuck) Stiltner of Westerville; nephew Trey (Maria) Mann; niece Debbie Drago, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends and acquaintances.
Cremation has taken place and services are pending with the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Center of Hope in Ravenna.

I send my condolences to the Mann family. I had known Tom since I was 17 through my father, who also sends his condolences from Florida. Tom had many words of encourgement and hope when I needed help. Tom helped change and save many lives through AA.
