Sandra A. (Sharpless) Lark, age 52, of Rootstown, passed away at her home on Friday, January 3, 2014.
She was born on August 4, 1961. She was a 1979 graduate of Rootstown High School. She worked as a secretary for Stow School District for several years. She loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with family. She was a very giving person and was always looking for ways to help her family and friends in any way that she could. She had a heart of gold and lived each day to the fullest.
She was well known for her love for her animals. She will be sadly missed by her yellow lab "Brutus" and her cat "Clyde".
She is survived by her husband Bill Lark of Rootstown, her parents Ron and Shirley Sharpless of Northfield, her sister Julie Haas of Kent, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Sharpless and her nephew Markie Singleton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 5-7 PM at the Kent VFW located at 500 Tallmadge Ave. Kent, Ohio.

My deepest condolences to Sandy's family, she was a very kind classmate. I am sure she will be missed by so many and it is with most heart-felt sadness that she leaves us. To be watch from above now, she will always be with us. <3 <3
My heart goes out to Sandy's family. I didn't know her that well, but over the years everytime I would run into her she would greet me with a big smile and kind words. To me she was a very sweet and friendly person and the world will miss her.
