Cecil E. Dean, age 60, passed away peacefully after battling a long illness on January 1, 2014, while at Maplewood Care Centre in Streetsboro.
He was born on January 12, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, and was a lifelong resident of Windham. Cecil worked at Eaton Corporation and also had many auto body shops where he explored his passion for working on cars and enjoyed being outside in his garage.
He is survived by his two daughters: Jessica and Nicole, his niece Melissa, and seven grandchildren. Cecil was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie, and his only son Cecil Jr.
Cecil was an active family man who wanted nothing more than to be remembered as a loving, caring, and optimistic person. He also loved listening to gospel music, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ravenna, Ohio.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held for family and friends on a later date. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-bork oski.com.

Happy Birthday! Sorry we didn't get to see each other once more, but i'm sure your in a better place. You know he might have done some things in his past, but how rude of someone to ask if the gates of heaven will open? really 123 are you perfect that they r going to open for u? everyone has skeletons in there passed. If you have nothing nice to say then shut up and keep those thought to yourself. RIP CECIL
