Thomas Lloyd Drugan

Thomas Lloyd Drugan, 57, passed away December 28th, 2013.

He was born in Ravenna, Ohio in 1956 to parents Ralph W. and Frankie M. (Carrigan) Drugan. The sixth child and third son of eight children, he was much loved. He graduated from Ravenna High School and soon after, proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Ord, California. His crystal blue eyes reflected his joyful heart. You could always count on a smile and conversation every morning. He loved hats and in his later years was rarely seen without one. Tom loved music. Whether singing or dancing he embraced a true Irish spirit. He valued friendship and leaves many to mourn his passing and cherish his memory. His family is grateful to his loving friend, Avis Amidon for being at his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Daniel.

He is survived by his daughter Alicia Marie Drugan-Picardo of Darlington, South Carolina and son Robert Thomas Drugan of Stow, Ohio, Sisters and brother, Diane (Louis) Dudek, of Ravenna, Ohio, Deborah (Dr. Richard) Gregory of Aurora, Ohio, Melody (Fred) Greene of Columbus, Ohio, John F. (Tracy) Drugan of Ravenna, Ohio, Judith (Christ) Coteff of Helotes, Texas, Carol (Vito) Matarrese of Shalersville, Ohio. Aunt Inez Staley of Columbus, Ohio and Uncle Robert (Eleanor) Drugan of Ravenna, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 West Main St., Ravenna, Ohio with Reverend William Kraynak officiating. Family will receive friends at the church, one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna, Ohio.
