Edna Marvin - age 81 passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at home with family.
She is survived by husband, Paul Marvin, twin daughters, Kay Marvin and Kathy Edwards, son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Peggy Marvin; granddaughter Crystal & husband Brian Wilson; and great grandchildren Daisy, Logan and Samantha Wilson.
Edna was born February 5, 1932 and grew up in the Charlestown area. She attended Charlestown school and graduated in the class of 1950, consisting of four women: Margaret (Hurd) Sanford, Evelyn (Hartman) Koran (deceased), Ruth (Hutton) Schell, and Edna (Fleming) Marvin. Class motto: Never underestimate the power of a woman!
She married Paul Marvin on October 7, 1951 and lived most of her adult life in the south. She worked as a PBX operator, teacher's aide, mail carrier, owned her own tractor-trailer and hauled potatoes for Tom's Potato Chips,
Edna and Paul are members of the Charlestown United Methodist Church.
She will be greatly missed.
