Esther M. Wolff, 86 years of age, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at her residence in Hiram Township, Ohio. Mrs. Wolff was born in Warren, Ohio on November 25, 1927, the daughter of the late Narvie and Naomi ( King ) Moss. A graduate of Parkman High School, and Warren Beauty School Academy, she was the owner of Esther's Beauty Shop in Hiram for 40 years from where she retired. She also worked at Moss Beach for 15 years, as well as part-time at the Portage County Board of Elections. Mrs. Wolff was co-manager with her husband of the Wolff Family Blueberry Business for many years. She was a longtime very active member of the Hiram Christian Church, a member of Crescent Chapter O.E.S. in Garrettsville, and a 40 years member of Holiday Rambler Club, and several additional camping clubs. Esther enjoyed her family, sports, and traveling all of the 50 United States, as well as much of Canada, totaling over 200,000 miles with her husband Donald. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who were blessed by her presence in their lives. On August 7, 1949, she married W. Donald Wolff who survives at their home. Also surviving is her son Denis Wolff of Hiram, Ohio, grandchildren Frank (Jaclyn ) Wolff of Los Angles, California and Donald (Amber ) Wolff of Freedom. Ohio, great-grandchildren Owen, Savannah and Lacy. Also surviving are her sisters Beatrice ( Robert ) Bossow of Hiram, Ohio, Gladys Huffman of Warren, Ohio and Barbara ( Richard ) Thorn of Parkman, Ohio and her brother Harold ( Kathleen ) Moss of Burton, Ohio. 15 nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her sisters Kathryn Villers, Karen Risko, and brother Howard Moss. Calling hours will be Friday from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where O.E.S. services will begin at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Hiram Christian Church, 6868 Wakefield Rd. (Rt. 82) Hiram, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. where additional visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Officiating will be Pastor Roger McKinney.
