  • Dean was President of the AE/AOE Sailors Association an organization that represents sailors who served on 42 ammunition ships. He was an outstanding leader working for the rights and benefits veterans earned. Dean got along with everyone and could relate to veterans needs no matter their background. He was a mechanical genius and a smart businessman. He used those skills to benefit our members -he drove a hard but fair bargain. The Association will miss him and so will I. In the Navy we say Fair Winds and following seas to deparding shipmates. I know Dean will find them in heaven. Jerry King, AE/AOE Sailors Association Director
