I was a student of his music class at Davey. I rememeber him having me write my own music, and then he would play it. My thoughts and condolences to his family. Jonathan
Our family has very fond memories of Dave coming to our house at Christmas as Santa and reading stories to all of the grandkids. I really enjoyed how well he could play the piano and I was going to give him a call to tune my piano, I dont know anyone else to call. He was a very talented wood worker and cabinet maker. May he rest in peace. God bless. Dorothy
After reading Daves obituary I was dissapointed people that were very important in his life were not mentioned, such as Bailey Walker and her grandmother Kay, whom was a very big part of their lives for many years. Tawnia
I too was a student of kent schools, and had a class with Mr Hoover. Very sorry to hear of his passing, My thoughts and condolences to the family. Caleb
I'm very saddened to learn of Mr.Hoover's passing.
Had him for various music classes and he was always funny but a great teacher. We used to tease that we were related as we shared the same last name (Hoover is my maiden name).
My deepest condolences to his family.
