Aaron M. Koerlin, age 40 of Burton Township, Ohio died after a longtime battle with cancer, Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born on May 5, 1974 in Ravenna, Ohio, son of Thomas and Linda (Beery) Koerlin. Aaron was a graduate of Berkshire High School in 1992. He worked as an Inventory Control Technician for 15 years at APEX Technological Services Corp in Auburn. A member of the NRA for many years; he also was a beekeeper and raised chickens and ducks. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking. He loved being with his family, especially his nephew Karl.
He will be missed by his friends and family; his parents, Tom and Linda Koerlin of Troy Township; his brother Kevin (Sara) Koerlin and nephew Karl Koerlin from Troy Township; his paternal grandmother Clara Koerlin of Troy Township; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Fred Koerlin and maternal grandparents Louis and Elizabeth Beery.
The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 2, 2014 at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 West High St. (Rt. 87) in Middlefield. Rev. John Burkley will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mumford Rd. Cemetery in Troy Township.
