Delores E. Resh, 79, of Paris Township, passed on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in the emergency room of St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. Delores was born on April 24, 1935 in Somerset, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Walter A. and Ethel Johnston Durst. She obtained her formal education in the Somerset school system.
Delores moved to the area in 1952 with her husband, Teddy, where they welcomed their two children and spent sixty-two loving years together. She enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as playing bingo and computer games.
Cherished memories will be carried on by her loving family, her husband, Teddy L. Resh, Sr., whom she married on March 21, 1952 in Winchester, Virginia; her son and daughter-in-law, Teddy L. and Betty Resh, Jr.; her adored grandchildren, Tracy (Roy) Wilson, Katrina (Dave) Becker, Bobbie (Donnie) Moore, Renee (Corey) Tasker and Bo (Bekki) Tasker; her great grandchildren, LeAnna, Johnathen, Kylee, Stacy, Haylee, Dylan, Brady and Bo; her sister, Eileen Durst Briggs, her son-in-law, Rick Tasker as well as many other extended family members.
Preceding Delores were her parents; her sisters, Alta Wolley, Mary Ellen Haines, Virginia Malemi and Ethel Marie Fetty; her brothers, Watson Durst, Frankie Durst and Jimmy Durst and two infant siblings; along with her daughter, Tammy L. Tasker.
Delores will be laid to rest in Hawley Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014.
Arrangements for Delores were entrusted to the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio.
