Debra Ann Guiher

Debra Ann Guiher, 60 years of age, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at The Woodlands in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Akron, Ohio on June 22, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eva (Prater) Cutlip. A lifetime Ravenna area resident, Debra had been employed as the bookkeeper with her husband in his A. &G. Well Drilling Company. She was a member of the Ravenna Moose Ladies No. 540. Debra enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, camping, and was an animal lover, attested by the care and love she gave her dog KYA. On August 30, 1986, she married Arthur G. "Butch" Guiher, Jr. who survives at their home. Also surviving are her sisters Jolynn (Anthony) Johnson and Saunya (Allen) Alloway both of Alaska, Kim Moore of Florida her mother-in-law Mary Lou Guiher of Ravenna, sister-in-laws Rose Marie (Craig) Rhodes of Oklahoma and Sherry Lynn Guiher of Ravenna, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Arthur G. Guiher, Sr. in 2003. No calling hours. Cremation has been held. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date. Final resting place will be at Grandview Memorial Park. Debra's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice & Visiting Nurse of Robinson Memorial Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, The Woodlands, and very special friends Harry and Debbie Rydbom and Tina Vargo for their love and support. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.

Butch, Aunt Mary Lou, Sherry, Rose, Mary, and Family,

I wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you daily as I know very well the difficult path you have traveled.  I am praying for you all and know that you will feel her strength and love around you.  If there is ever anything I can do please call.
