James K. Robinson
James K. Robinson, 78, of Stow, died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Maison Aine Care Center in Stow.
He was born August 7, 1935 in Akron to Carroll Seth and Mildred M. (Parker) Robinson. He worked for A&P for 28 years. He then owned and operated the Westside Market in Kent for sixteen years. He was an avid bowler and softball player. He was a Cleveland Brown fan and a proud season ticket holder for over 50 years. He and his wife enjoyed travelling and their favorite destination was Aruba.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Spear) Robinson, whom he married on April 24, 1960; daughters, Kathy (Cecil Parsons) Robinson of Suffield, Sheri (Rick) Chestnutwood of Kent, and Janet (Joe) Swaney of Kent; grandchildren, Matthew Chestnutwood of Kent, Morgan Chestnutwood of Columbus, Amanda Swaney of Kent, and Joseph Swaney of Kent; brother, Charles Robinson of Akron. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Robinson.

Calling hours will be held 4-7 PM Wednesday, July 23rd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent where memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 24th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Kevin O'Brien officiating.
