Beverly Ann Huff, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Elkhart Hospice House. She was born January 11, 1949 in Ravenna, Ohio to Harold G. and Hazel J. (Roosa) Bower.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Melody (Rob) Briggs of Mishawaka; 3 sons, Reggie (Tracy) Huff of Elkhart, Chris (Amy) Huff of Elkhart and Willie (Amanda Mabie) Huff of Goshen; 1 sister, Lucy (Roland) Carlberg of Milford, CT.; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert and Jeffery Huff; 2 brothers, Robert Lee and Randy Harold Bower and 1 sister, Rose Bower.
Beverly was employed as a librarian at Mary Beck Elementary School for 15 years and later worked at Monger Elementary School as a paraprofessional prior to her retirement.
The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the 6:00 PM funeral service on Friday, August 29th at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart. Pastor David Lade will officiate. Interment of her cremated remains will take place in Rice Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Elkhart Special Olympics or the Hospice Foundation.
