Ervin D. Konkle, 73 of Ravenna passed away Wednesday July 5, 2017 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna with his family by his side.

He was born September 9, 1943 in Edinburg, Ohio to the late Frank W. and Florence (Moon) Konkle. Mr. Konkle has lived in Ravenna most of his life and was a retired machinist working for Cleveland Punch and Die, Cornwell Quality Tool, Alleghany Drop Forge and Speedex Tractor. He was a 49 year member and past master of the F&AM Unity Lodge #12 in Ravenna, a 45 year member of the Eastern Chapter #46 in Ravenna, past High Priest for the Tyrian Chapter #91 and was also a DAD advisor for the DeMolay.

Survivors include his loving wife Donna (Tubaugh) Konkle whom he married July 6, 1981, his children Chad (Callie) Konkle, Darla Konkle, his grandson Jackson Donald Konkle, brother John (Carol) Konkle and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Donald L. Konkle, his siblings Henry, Frank, Raleigh, Emerson, Dewey Konkle, Anna Margaret Dreschler, Jennie Hamrick, Mary Adair, Mamie Marks and Lola Workman.

Calling hours will be Monday July 10, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. At 1:00 PM F&AM Unity Lodge #12 will have masonic services with funeral services immediately following with Pastor Chad Froelich officiating.
