Isn't it a shame that voters in Kent chose an elitist city manager type of government instead of a strong mayor type of city government that we had previously?
Had that election gone the other way, surely now the city would have the funding for the much needed new police station and perhaps some money to repair the washboard streets.
Too bad that ship has sailed.
