Three winters ago, the Ohio Supreme Court said: "No Ohio resident will be punished for failure to remove snow or ice from his or her sidewalk" -- case closed.
However, on Feb. 25, 2013, one of City Manager Ruller's "toadies" at City Hall told a reporter from the Kent Stater otherwise.
What purpose was served here? Was this innocent student supposed to be impressed by this "flexing of muscle"?
Can't you people from City Hall go through just one winter without threatening the folks who pay your inflated salaries? Can't you do your jobs and leave the taxpayers alone?
Paul Craven, Kent
One could make the argument that a person who willfully chooses to live in Kent has forfeited good both good sense and protection from heavy-handed public officials.
