This is in response to the extemely offensive comment made in Sound Off that was published on Jan. 31:
You should be ashamed of yourself for tying the "suicide deaths" of American soldiers to your political agenda. You stated that these soldiers had killed themselves because "they voted for Bush and then realized they were wrong."
You possess no honor, no dignity, no integrity -- and based on the fact that you sent the message anonymously to Sound Off -- you have no courage. Your family must be ashamed.
These brave men and women go voluntarily into harm's way to do this country's bidding to ensure you have the freedoms and privileges guaranteed by these folks' sacrifices. At times they come back with broken bodies, broken spirits and broken minds. Sometimes they do not come home. How dare you disrespect these brave souls.
And now I would like to speak directly to the Record-Courier:
I understand about freedom of the press, but there is such a thing as common decency. It is shameful that you would print such a vile and disgusting comment.

@MD...the sound off guy can say what he wants.
The Record Courier didn't have to print it.
I think because sound off mentioned Bush in a negative way, they printed the drivel.
As a Vet I'm compelled to point out how I and others served and some have died to protect the Right of and for people to be stupid and disgusting.
Just not in Iraq.
