Sound-Off contributors often complain about the Brady Lake police stopping cars on S.R. 59 and I am beginning to see a problem of overly zealous traffic management.
My niece came to my home in Brady Lake for a family reunion on Saturday, Aug. 23. She was stopped on S.R. 59 at Erie Street in Brady Lake and ticketed for speeding at 8 mph over the posted limit. On her way home a few hours later she was stopped on S.R. 59 after turning from Erie Street. She was told she was going too slow and that was suspicious.
The already poor reputation of the village in this county is not going to improve with such police behavior. Do we want our village to generate income at the expense of no one ever wanting to come here?

Looks like that particular stretch of road is a Gold Mine for BL cops? It would be interesting to see how many tickets are generated
at that particular area over the course of a year.
