After much deliberation, the Madison Walker Organization has decided to discontinue the Madison Walker Toy Run. We appreciate all the support we have received over the last 11 years. Without the bikers, police, volunteers and sponsors, we could not have accomplished so much for families in need.
The Madison Walker Memorial Toy Run was founded the year Madison, age 4, a resident of Ravenna, passed away from bacterial meningitis.
The purpose of the run was to make people aware of meningitis, and help children and families in need. Meningitis takes the lives of many children every year and is often mistaken for the flu.
If you build it, they will come seemed to fit the Madison Run. Rain or shine, hundreds of bikers roared into Suffield to participate in this event. They came from all over northeastern Ohio and as far away as Florida.
After 11 successful years, the organization would like to thank each and every one who participated. We will be forever grateful. Thanks again for 11 amazing years.
