Flashes announce 2003 ticket prices

It is going to cost a little more to see Kent State football in 2003 Ticket prices for the upcoming season were announced Wednesday, with both season and individual game tickets making minor jumps. The biggest increase is in chairback seats, where a six-game season tickets will cost $88 up $16 from last year. Individual game tickets in the chairback section, however, are $15, marking just a $1 increase from last season. Season ticket prices for 2003 are $88 for chairback, $72 for reserved bleacher, and $52 for general admission. Kent State faculty and staff, senior citizens and members of the Blue and Gold, Varsity K and KSU Alumni Association can purchase season tickets, with chairback costing $82, reserved bleachers costing $66, and general admission passes costing $46. Individual game tickets to see Kent State play Central Florida on Sept. 27, the Connecticut on Oct. 18, Miami of Ohio on Oct. 25, and the Buffalo on Nov. 22 cost $15 for chairback, $12 for reserved bleachers, and $8 for general admission. Tickets for the Sept. 13 home opener against Youngstown State and the Oct. 4 Homecoming game against Ball State are $10 for general admission, $15 for reserved bleachers and $17 for chairbacks. Kent State students are admitted free with a valid KSU identification card. Tickets for all home games, as well as Kent States Sept. 6 game at the Pittsburgh ($45 each) and Sept. 20 game at Penn State ($44), are currently available at the KSU Athletic Ticket Office in the M.A.C. Center, or by calling 330-672-2244. Tickets for all other road games will be available at a later date.
