RAVENNA 60, MOGADORE 37

The host Ravens jumped out to a 19-6 first-quarter lead and cruised to its first win of the season in a Portage Trail Conference cross-division contest on Wednesday.

Mogadore (1-2) outscored the Ravens 13-10 in the third stanza, but could not get any closer as Ravenna finished the contest with a 14-10 scoring spurt.

Deja Sanders led the Ravens (1-1) with game-high 17 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, while Taylor Geib added 10 points for Ravenna.

Grace Reilly paced the Wildcats with 16 points, while Naomi Pollock nailed three 3-pointers and finished with 13 points.

CRESTWOOD 52, GARFIELD 47

The host Red Devils withstood a furious fourth-quarter rally by the G-Men and hung on for a PTC cross-division win.

Crestwood (2-0) led 38-26 after three quarters, but Garfield (0-2) outscored the Red Devils 21-14 over the final eight minutes, but came up short.

Crestwood's Allyson Groves canned four 3-pointers to tie Holly Hoffman for a team-leading 13 points, while Allison Vannoy chipped in with 10 tallies.

Garfield's Jackie Tabor led all scorers with 16 points, while Melody Bright added 11 points, with a trio of 3-pointers for the G-Men.
