EAST CANTON 64, WATERLOO 54
The visiting Hornets rallied from an early deficit and held on for a PTC County win over the Vikings.
Waterloo (1-9, 1-4) led 18-14 after one quarter, but East Canton (3-7, 2-3) went on a 19-8 scoring run in the second quarter to grab a 33-26 advantage at intermission.
The Hornet outscored the hosts 15-8 in the third quarter to build a 48-34 lead that the Vikings were unable to overcome.
East Canton had just five players score, but three of them were in double figures. Hayden Miller had 18 points, Cody Reichard dropped in 17 and Clay Libertore had 13 tallies. Bryce Moldovan pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds for the Hornets.
Waterloo's Collin Michalec canned four 3-pointers to lead all scorers with 22 points, while Tommy Saviers had 10 points and Dale Miller chipped in with eight points and 10 boards.
WOODRIDGE 54, ROOTSTOWN 27
The visiting Bulldogs held the Rovers to single-digit scoring in all four quarters on the way to a PTC County Division victory.
Woodridge (2-5, 2-3) outscored Rootstown (0-9, 0-5) 16-3 in the first quarter and 14-6 in the second to take a commanding halftime lead.
The Bulldogs pushed the margin to 48-18 heading into the final eight minutes.
Alex Barracato had a game-high 16 points to lead Woodridge, while teammate Nelson Perry added 10 points.
Connor Formick led Rootstown with eight points.
NORTON 82, CRESTWOOD 47
The host Panthers remained in first place in the PTC Metro Division in cruising to a division win over the Red Devils.
Norton (9-1, 5-0) scored 46 points in the first half to take a 27-point lead at intermission and was never threatened over the final 16 minutes. For the game, the Panthers connected on 10 3-pointers among their 29 field goals.
Matt McGlone buried four from behind the arc to finish with 16 points for Norton, while Aaron VanBuskirk hit a pair of 3s and finished with a game-high 18 points.
Jacob Graves had 10 points to pace Crestwood (5-4, 1-4).
