WINDHAM 84, EAST CANTON 61
Despite hitting 14 3-point shots, the visiting Hornets were no match for the PTC County Division-leading Bombers in a division contest on Friday.
East Canton may have been dialed in from long range, but it was Windham (16-1, 11-0) which jumped out to a 25-8 lead after one quarter.
The Bombers, who canned seven 3-pointers themselves and shot 53 percent from the field (31-of-58), pushed the lead to 46-21 at halftime and were never seriously challenged the rest of the way.
Five players hit double figures for Windham, with Matt Knight leading the way with 19 points. Cameron Pozsgai had 18 points, Parker Rickey hit for 15, Jared Taylor had 10, and Jonah Konzen had 10 points and nine rebounds.
For East Canton, Hayden Miller buried five 3-pointers for a game-high 20 points. Cody Reichard also hit five shots from behind the arc for 15 points, while Alec Pennell added a trio of 3s and finished with 13 points and six boards.
