KSU women fall to Broncos

The Kent State women's basketball team was unable to carry over the momentum from Sunday's two-point win at Ohio University into Thursday night's home matchup with Western Michigan.

The Broncos broke away from a 24-22 halftime edge to defeat KSU 58-40 at the M.A.C. Center in Kent.

The Flashes (3-19, 1-8) were led by Trisha Krewson with nine points.

The Broncos (7-15, 3-6) were led by A.J. Johnson with 19 points. Miracle Woods had 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Marquisha Harris added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
